2020, a year like no other.
Let’s hope we never, ever see a year anything like it again.

When he tries to surrender to police, they just let him just walk away holding his rifle, because he’s a white teenager. This shooter is immediately proclaimed a “hero” and a “patriot” by right-wing U.S. politicians and talking heads on Fox so-called News.

- An nationwide run on ammunition, even worse than the run on guns, leads to the most severe shortages anyone has seen in their lifetime, with nary a cartridge to be found anywhere, of any caliber, at any price. Why the shortage, who bought it all up, who is buying it all, who is hoarding it all, and why, what are they going to do with it with shooting ranges empty due to COVID-19? Conspiracy theories abound about who is buying up all the ammo being manufactured, and where on earth they’re finding any to buy, as even online stores are empty, despite prices having doubled.

- Despite the McConnell rule from 2016 that Supreme Court justices shouldn’t be confirmed during an election year, a new Supreme Court justice is nominated and approved in record time. Just days before the most important election in history, a religious extremist from a cult where she’s known as a “handmaid”, despite having almost no experience as a judge, is nominated and confirmed in record speed to the highest court in the land on a pure party-line vote. This gives the impeached President three of his own Supreme Court justices on the court, and he publicly declares that by putting her on the Supreme Court, it will help him steal a disputed election.

- The superspreader event announcing the nomination of the new Supreme Court justice (one of many superspreader events at the White House) leads to COVID-19 spreading to the President, First Lady, and over a dozen White House staff. They learn absolutely nothing from this, and continue holding suprespreader events for the rest of the year.

- Twitter specifically says they allow political parody accounts, yet with the 2020 election approaching, Twitter shut down anti-Trump parody accounts, including mine (@MoscowTrump), with no warning, no explanation, and no reason whatsoever.
